FAQ’s

Do I need to pay a deposit?
It depends on the value of the project. I normally ask for a 50% deposit for £300+ value projects, including all Branding Packages. The deposit acts as a way to 'reserve' a slot for larger projects in my schedule. A project that requires a deposit is only confirmed in my diary once the deposit is received.

What's the difference between the Essentials and Premium brand package?
The Essentials package contains the basics – logos, colours, fonts – whilst the Premium brand package contains more branded items for a strong brand look – logos, colours, fonts, brand graphics, social media branding, business card design, detailed brand guidelines. The quality of design is the same for each package, you just get more assets for better value in the Premium package.

I’m interested in a Branding Package but something is holding me back?
68% of companies report a 10-20% growth in revenue from having a strong and consistent brand. I embark on a thorough research and mood board development stage with new brand clients. This ensures I get a good idea of my clients taste, target audience, any design ideas they may already have, and what will measure a successful brand. Plus, up to three rounds of amendments are included no matter how in-depth they may need to be. If you need further rounds of amends, we can discuss this at the time but will be based on an hourly rate.

Can you just design a logo?
Occasionally, you just need a logo to get your business off the ground fast. Get in touch to request a logo design instead of a Brand Package.

Do you accept instalments?
Yes, normally £300+ value projects are split into two payments – a 50% deposit, and 50% paid at the end of the project, both with 7-day payment terms as standard. However, I understand that this can still be a big investment and so I'm happy to arrange an alternative payment plan if required.

Can I request a bespoke Brand Package?
Yes, if you'd like something a little different than the Brand Packages on offer I am happy to swap things around or provide a bespoke quote, just ask.

You include up to 2 brand fonts in your Brand Packages - what does this mean?
Your brand fonts are suggested within the Brand Guidelines PDF document. The fonts can be downloaded from their original website via a link embedded in the PDF – I do not own or supply the font files themselves. Your brand fonts will usually be Open Source fonts available to download for free from reputable industry-leading sources, such as Google Fonts.

What is the Brand Guidelines PDF and why do I need it?
It is reported that 85% of organisations improve brand consistency, and therefore customer trust, by having (and using!) Brand Guidelines. Think of it as an instruction manual; Brand Guidelines are a comprehensive guide on what your logos, colour palette, fonts and brand assets are and how they should be used. A selection of realistic Photoshop mockups and design examples are also included. The Brand Guidelines should be followed by anyone who is developing visual assets for the brand – business owners, graphic designers, marketing agencies, social media managers, web designers etc – and are essential to ensure a brand is represented professionally and consistently no matter who is designing for it.

Why do you use Wix for your websites?
In my opinion, Wix is a popular user-friendly platform to create a good looking, functional website, that clients can manage themselves after handover. Wix is a simple 'drag and drop' web design platform that requires no coding knowledge and therefore allows for huge creative freedom and self-management. Wix websites can be SEO optimised, mobile optimised and Google search verified and can incorporate a variety of features such as booking forms, blogs and e-commerce. If you would prefer to have your website developed and maintained by a website developer or website agency, but still want it designed by me, that is also possible. I can also offer Squarespace website design, if this is more up your street.
